Flowboard
A real-time team dashboard for planning tasks and tracking progress.
A sleek fintech platform that takes the anxiety out of money — simple payments, honest spending insights, and budgets that bend without breaking.
Money apps usually fail on trust: cluttered numbers, surprise fees, charts nobody understands. Ledgerly’s founders wanted the opposite — an app that reads like a calm conversation about your cash, not a spreadsheet shouting at you.
I built the entire client experience: onboarding that explains itself, a payments flow that takes seconds, and spending views that answer “where did it go?” at a glance. Every number is tappable, every chart has a plain-language summary.
01 — TRUST
Every screen was reviewed against one test: could a nervous first-time user explain what just happened with their money? If not, it was redesigned.
02 — STATE
Balances, pending payments, and holds each got explicit states with loading, empty, and error variants — no silent spinners anywhere.
03 — PROVE
Usability rounds used participants’ own budgets. Watching real people send real-feeling money caught edge cases no script ever would.
React with Redux for predictable money state, TypeScript for safety around every cent, and exhaustive component tests. The full source is available to serious collaborators — just ask.
